behind the art

A little lost in motherhood, I wandered back to something that always made me feel like myself- art. Being creative is not just what I do, it’s who I am- and who I’ve always been. There’s been ebbs and flows, ups and downs, but I feel like I’m slowly embracing my inner artist.

I’ve been in-and-out of pottery for the last 15 years, and could not be more excited to finally have a home studio setup! For me, pottery is where aesthetic meets function, and nothing has challenged my perfectionist side more. I’ve also been painting my entire life; sometimes hyper-focused and intentional, and other times just terribly.
But always painting, nonetheless.

Outside of art, I’m a wife and mom. My entire world revolves around my little family, and sweet pup, Owen. We currently live in a small beach town in North Florida, I love raising my kids by the ocean. I love a good sunrise, am a nature enthusiast and a big fan of dark chocolate.
